Why hire a skilled, experienced architect?

Expertise Matters.

Anyone can hand you a floor plan. An architect gives you a building that works — for your budget, your site, your codes, and the way you actually live or run your business. At Zinc Architecture, we believe the value of hiring a licensed architect shows up long before construction starts, and long after it ends.

Design That Solves Problems, Not Just Looks Good

A skilled architect doesn't just draw pretty renderings. Zach Provonchee and the Zinc Architecture team study your site, your vision, your budget, and your goals before a single line gets drawn. That means fewer costly surprises during construction, a design that meets Nashville's (and all of its surrounding communities) evolving zoning and building codes from day one, and a finished space that actually fits how you live or work.

A Guide Through a Complex Process

Hiring an architect means having an advocate who coordinates with contractors, engineers, and permitting offices on your behalf. That expertise typically pays for itself: expertise at the table, fewer change orders, faster approvals, and a build that goes smoother from permit to punch list.

Sustainable, LEED-Informed Design - That Works

Zinc Architecture specializes in sustainable architecture and green building design, from energy-efficient custom homes to commercial renovations that lower long-term operating costs. LEED AP accreditation means every project is built with an eye toward materials, orientation, and systems that reduce environmental impact without sacrificing style.

Residential and Commercial Architecture in Nashville

Whether you're planning a custom home, a whole-house renovation, or a commercial buildout, Zinc Architecture brings decades of experience — including work at Hastings Architecture Associates, Gresham Smith, and Manuel Zeitlin Architects — to every project. We start by listening, because the best buildings are designed around the people who'll actually use them.
